1. Introduction & Acceptance
1.1 These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern the sale of goods by Best Of Rover Spares Limited ("we", "us", "our") to you ("you", "customer") via our Shopify website (the "Site").
1.2 By placing an order or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1.3 If you do not accept these Terms, you must not place an order or use the services.
2. Eligibility & Age
2.1 You confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have legal capacity to enter a contract.
2.2 You may not use the Site if doing so violates any applicable law.
3. Product Information, Pricing & Availability
3.1 We supply new, reconditioned and used car parts. Each product listing will clearly indicate whether an item is 'new genuine', 'new aftermarket', 'reconditioned' or 'used'.
3.2 We endeavour to display accurate product descriptions, images, specifications and pricing. However, we do not guarantee that all details are error-free. If we discover an error we will notify you and offer the option to reconfirm or cancel your order before dispatch.
3.3 Prices shown are inclusive of VAT (where applicable) unless otherwise stated.
3.4 All orders are subject to availability. If a product is unavailable after you place an order, we will notify you and either offer an alternative or a full refund.
4. Placing Orders & Contract Formation
4.1 You place an order when you click 'confirm purchase' (or equivalent) in the checkout process.
4.2 An order constitutes an offer by you to buy the goods under these Terms.
4.3 We may accept your order by sending you an order confirmation email (which does not itself constitute acceptance) and a further email confirming dispatch. The contract is formed when we send the dispatch (shipping) confirmation.
4.4 If we reject your order (e.g. due to non-availability, postal location unavailable or payment failure), we will notify you and refund any monies paid.
5. Payment
5.1 Payment must be made in full before dispatch, via the payment methods displayed (e.g. credit card, PayPal, Stripe, Shopify Payments etc.).
5.2 By providing payment information, you represent and warrant that you are authorised to use the payment method.
5.3 If your payment method is declined or subsequent charges are reversed, we may cancel your order or suspend further delivery until the issue is resolved.
6. Delivery
6.1 All postage and delivery services are facilitated through GS Post Limited, acting as our delivery broker.
6.2 GS Post Limited selects the most suitable delivery service for each item based on its size, weight, value and destination, typically utilising Parcelforce or Royal Mail.
6.3 Postage is collected at 1:00PM weekdays – 12:30 is our cut off point for next day delivery orders.
6.4 Next day delivery is not guaranteed for Saturdays with Royal Mail/Parcelforce – customers must be aware of this prior to purchase if they require the items within a guaranteed time fame.
6.5 Delivery times provided at checkout are estimates and may vary depending on courier performance and destination. We do not guarantee specific delivery dates.
6.6 Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery. Title in the goods passes to you when we receive full payment.
6.7 While every effort is made to ensure timely delivery, we are not liable for delays caused by third-party couriers, customs processes, or events beyond our control. However, we will assist you in resolving any delivery issues where possible.
6.8 Overseas postage is offered on a case-by-case basis and is also facilitated through GS Post Limited to ensure the best balance between cost and service quality.
7. Inspection, Damage and Missing Items
7.1 You must inspect goods immediately upon delivery.
7.2 Any shortages, transit damage, or incorrect items must be reported to us within 2 working days of delivery via email, with photographic evidence where applicable.
7.3 If items are damaged in transit, we will work with the courier to investigate and arrange a suitable remedy (replacement, repair, or refund).
7.4 For postal delays: we are not responsible for delays caused by the carrier beyond our control, but we will assist in chasing.
8. Returns, Cancellation & Refunds

8.1 Cooling off period (private sales only) - cancel within 14 days from date of sale. Goods to be returned within a further 14 days.
8.2 Goods to be returned in the same condition as received and in their original packaging where possible.
8.3 Goods are returned at the customers expense; unless faulty or mis described - see below.
8.4 Refunds will be paid via the original payment method within 14 days of receipt or proof of postage.
8.5 Refunds will not be paid where the goods have been used. Unless the product listing specifies otherwise.
8.6 All items are security marked, refunds cannot be paid if this is tampered with.
9. Warranty & Guarantees

9.1 Unless otherwise specified we offer the following warranty period Used parts - 30 days from date of receipt. New parts - 12 months
9.2 Warranties cover manufacturing defects and parts found to be faulty. This does not include wear and tear, improper installation, misuse, accidental damage or modification.
9.3 Proof of purchase must accompany all claims.
9.4 We reserve the right to vary the warranty period in certain circumstances (increase or decrease). These variations will be made clear in the product listing.
10. Faulty, Damaged or Misdescribed Goods

10.1 If goods are defective, damaged on arrival or materially different from their description you have the statutory right to request repair, replacement or a full refund as appropriate.
10.2 We will refund the cost of return once received (or proof of postage) and refund or replace as appropriate.
11. Limitations & Exclusions of Liability
11.1 Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
11.2 Subject to consumer protection laws (which cannot be excluded), our liability is limited as follows: we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive losses (such as loss of profits, business, goodwill).
11.3 Our total liability to you for any one event or series of connected events will not exceed the purchase price you paid for the goods.
11.4 We exclude liability for damage caused by misuse, accidents, improper installation, external causes, or modification.
12. Intellectual Property & Website Use
12.1 All content on the Site (text, images, logos, graphics, product names) is owned by or licensed to us.
12.2 You may use the Site for placing orders and browsing only; you may not reproduce, copy, distribute, transmit or exploit the content except as permitted.
12.3 If you upload user reviews, photos or other content to us, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use, adapt, publish such content.
13. Data Protection & Privacy
13.1 Our collection and use of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy. We comply with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
13.2 By using the Site and placing orders, you consent to such processing. Please review our Privacy Policy for full details.
14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
14.1 These Terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
14.2 You and we agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
14.3 If you are a consumer, you may make use of consumer dispute resolution schemes or the UK Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform where applicable.
15. Severability & Entire Agreement
15.1 If any clause is invalid or unenforceable under applicable law, it shall be severed, and the remaining terms shall continue to have full force and effect.
15.2 These Terms (together with the Privacy Policy) constitute the entire agreement between us and supersede prior agreements or promises.
